I choose to believe that Shane is playing this song for me...

He was the DJ at Village Station (now called S4) in Dallas, and I would go to the DJ

booth to request off the wall songs, or something attention grabbing, and SOMETIMES he'd look up

and smile at me. I was 17 or 18 years old and even then I thought he was the most beautiful man

I'd ever seen. I never thought that he'd walk in for a haircut when I was 30 years old and end up my boyfriend.

He made up for never playing the songs I requested back then.
